Have you ever played that ice breaker game where you're asked to name five things about yourself? Well here we go again! I'll go first.
1. I am a christian!
Trying to live this life and 'make it' without him is impossible. I know that now. When you love the lord and live your life for Him, you're living for something much greater than yourself. The Life that He gives can be seen as a Light in the eyes of those who know Him.
2. I am a wife!
And I so love it. My husband Jesse and I were married in 2005. We fell in love while cycling a coast to coast with the same organization. He is my balance in life, and my best friend. No kids yet!
3. I am an artistic entrepeneur!
I have a great passion for art, color, emotion, and the way that it works to bless and move people deeply. It was passed on to me from my very gifted mom who wrote the music for most of this site (go Mom!). I thrive on a challenge and desire changing environments. The analytical skills passed to me through my dad (go Dad!) give me the business sense to wade through the unknown and love it!
4. I am an adventurer and traveler!
Nothing gets me more excited than hopping on a plane with my husband to fly someplace unknown to us. Learning, growing, and sharing different accomplishments (i.e. summiting a mountain) or cultures is the greatest reward to our hard work.
5. I'm down-to-earth!
I won this award in middle school for being the most down to earth person in the school...funny how that works, since at the time, I didn't know what that meant! ha! I love to be completely open, honest, and comfortable with the people I am around. Being as real as real can get is the only way to have a deep relationship. LIfe is too short for shallow.
